IN-DEPTH PROGRAM

(Y7 to Y12)

Students are the architect of their own giant KAPLA structure!

WHAT TO EXPECT?

  • 3-week program with multiple sessions in your classroom

  •  2 phases project:

    1. Design and plan in small groups

    2. Build the giant KAPLA structure with the entire class

  • Students will follow a guided project management process

  • Possibility to exhibit to the rest of the school

 

HOW MANY STUDENTS?

  • Single or multiple classes of the same level

  • Adapted for various levels  (Y7-Y12)

 

WHERE? 

  • Conducted in your classroom (final construction to be built in school hall or large empty space)

SKILLS  FOCUS:

  • Creativity and self-expression

  • Project management: planning, scheduling, monitoring and closing 

  • Developing critical thinking through design-thinking approach

  • Cooperation and teamwork through experience
